The daughter of Endor, I went to see, Curious of her strange invitation, Said she had a revelation to share, Acquired through divination. I started to say, I'd requested no fortune, She raised a hand to silence me, Said, first, I must tell thee a story, Its relevance, you'll later see! There had been a young virginal lass, She'd barely seen seventeen years, She had a beauty, most profound, But this beauty led to her tears. She was violated during a savage attack, By a Knight who was commonly revered, He forced himself on her, stole her innocence, Threatened to kill her if she uttered a word. In the months that followed that heinous act, She knew someting evolved from this sin, Beyond the bouts of depression suffered, She felt new life stir from within. She hid herself amoung trusted kin, Seeking to rediscover her worth, Nine months from the day of attack, She found herself giving birth. To the midwifes suprise on that laboured day, As she assisted this violated mother, She gave birth to a healthy, male heir, When she discovered there was still another! The first child so sweet, a beautiful babe, With blue eyes that sparkled in the light, The second child, so angry, not like the first, Didn't cry, but seemed to growl through the night. T'was apparent her firstborn was heaven sent, But the second, it just wasn't well, His demeanor, his dark eyes, his little hiss, Must have come from the bowels of Hell. She just couldn't keep either child, For the first she found a good home, The second she put in a basket with note, On her attackers doorstep, left him alone. As the years went by, the first son did grow, Into an honorable, valiant young man, The second son, by the Knight was raised, Slit his throat to inherit his land. Enough of these fables, I finally said, Don't trouble me with another, She said this storys no fable, tis true, For the girl was thine own mother! Stunned, my mind reeling, racing away, Learning the facts of the day I was borne, If this be the case, who is my brother? Tis none other than Roger Blackthorne! He came to me for a reading, So vile, I had to take notice, I told him the story I just told you, 'Twas the eve of the Summer Soltice. |

Sir Knight, I'm appaled at this hellish tale. Who could have guessed that such a fate did exist. I, Gwynedd, give you my sympathies. Pray tell, what will you do with this revelation? |

Amazing White Knight, never imagined a twist like this. I can't wait to see where you go with it. |
