There's no love like a dog's love There's no heart that beats Quite as true There's no love Like a dogs love He keeps depending on you. Is there any other creature That can greet you time after time Upon your return Like you've been gone A thousand years? Who else can cheer you so When your sad and blue By looking in your eyes Saying without words It's no time to cry, Offering up his favorite toy Begging you to play He just won't go away Until you brighten up his day Funny how this ploy Always bring you joy. There's no love like a dog's love There's no heart that beats Quite as true There's no love like dog's love When he wags his tail You will always know.. That you've found a friend That's true! |

Ah, this is so true and I love the way you express it and the way this poem flows. Great job as usual. Love, Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. ell |

I have a 14-year old Tibetan Terrier who can't see or hear much, but he is still sturdy and interested in life. Your poem reminds me why I have him. And what will I do without him? Yes, I know, get another one--waiting in the wings! |

A wonderful poem and very true though they do have terrible breath and very weird hygenine habits. "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else" faster-Manic street preachers. |

Septsong, I love this!!!! Kinda made me sad because we lost our "special" dog, just can't find one to replace her. Your poem, beautifully crafted in words and thoughts. |
