LIFE or LOVE?? One's Life or love can be whole, Were they not alone To act upon one's heart and soul Can bring upon a home. Joy was there To hear the tears Of a hollow heart The home was gone I should've known The answer from the start. Life is not to be forgot, The heart is not to die I think of her every day, She's always on my mind Here at last, I live the past. Everyday and night The love is there For I still care. Somewhere deep inside. Though I know I shouldn't go, I long to end this strife Our child has grown to have a home, with his lovely wife. On I'll go To let alone Our son and his wife I hope he'll know I only go To be by her side. < !signature--> Kevin "Anything is possible with patience, time is the tool use it to reach your goals." Kevin, With this one I imagined a widowed parent who was sad, but carried on for his child. Now his child has grown and started his own life and Dad who's been ailing is ready to meet with his wife in heaven as soon as the sweet Lord chooses. Nice job, I enjoyed. |

wow.. what a perfect description, kaileth.. yeah, my interpretation was somewhat similar to L.D's, tho I was slightly confused in the last verse, On I'll go To let alone Our son and his wife I hope he'll know I only go To be by her side as it kinda sounds as though it is the son's wife u only go on for.. which can't be right.. (can it? *_^) so, just a little confused here.. lovely poetry.. Lynne "He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened." Lao-tsu |

Very touching and sad.. I really liked it.. Its achingly beautiful. I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell. |
