A SHY HELLO The day will come, Not far away, When Life will change, or so they say. Spring is here, The sky is bright, No time for tears, No time to fight. I had learned, How to give. Now it's time To learn to live Here she comes, One more time I know that I should speak my mind. As I try to say hello I feel my heart Up in my throat. As she heard My awful croak I think I saw A lighter note. A smile within Those Sea Green Eyes She knew I tried To just say hi. A smile so thin upon her lips She had noticed, Me a bit. K.A.L ____________________________________________________ A shy hello to all I look forward to reading the works here. Kevin |

Kevin this is so sweet. I'm sure each of us has been in a situation like this. I like the topic and the flow. Welcome to the Pub! ...Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is.... Black Eagle Oglala Sioux holy man |

Yep yep, count on Denise to always and forever send you an email when you sign on to Passions. (Of course, that only adds to her charm.) Great poem, kelieth! I had to go through this same event only back in late January (only her eyes were Deep Down Brown), but was spared any hint of embarrassment as she was acting the exact same way as I was (very shy and a little lightheaded)... Hope to see more of your work, and Welcome to the Pub! Little Spyro T. Dragon |
