I thought I heard a story Of a soul that had been lost, Gone from days of glory And suffered such a cost... I thought that I once heard a tale Of sorrow spun so well, A heart once warm now looked like shale And life a living hell-- Only from that point of view That clouds the light of day; Shields the eyes from what is true, Misleading on the way... Fortune is a theme park ride With all its ups and downs, But there's always good times on the side If you can hear their sounds-- Listen to what fate can say, And try to heed its call; Dare to go a different way Than not to dare at all But do not listen to advice That you don't feel is right, Go with what just might suffice And keep close to your sight Of the future, keep it bright No matter how it looks, There's always room for a little light In the darkened nooks. And don't forget this, keep in mind That friends await you here, Most of us (I think) you'll find Do hold you very dear! _________________________________________________________________ I don't really know how this came up, I started writing with the intention of cheering up fe, but it ended up kind of demeaning... Well, whatever I can't put into rhyme, I can always say in regular words: Hope the situation improves for you, fe! And hope that that sadness you express so vibrantly turns into joy sometime soon. What a wonderful way to welcome Fe back Spyro. How can she resist. You've said it for everyone. Jon |
