Where bodies roam without knowledge or need of anything safe their own moment, searching quietly so as not to stir the dreamer's ocean, left calm not disturbed by the slightest ripple. Trace in time (though it is of no bearing) a form to be understood in. Choose a form tender and pristine, shine pearls for eyes, with their prism vantage this world is so much more breathtaking. Curl into me, and speak with hushed breath, not words for they fail to express true emotion. Stroke in the most effortless way. Conserve your energy and resist passion, for forced emotion is empty. Craft round with soft hands in the sand and shift its weight to blanket us. Bodies sleep in an eternal embrace, sharing as they dream an understanding of what has been born between, between them. ------------------------ "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "Libraries gave us power Then work came and made us free What price now for a shallow piece of dignity" Nicky Wire, A design for Life. manic street preachers "Rock 'n' roll is our epiphany Culture, alienation, boredom and despair" "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." Brian, Oh so beautiful. The second verse spoke (to me) of finding that perfect balance of harmony with another. A really good read,Brian. Marcy |

They say dragons are magical... Well, that may or may not be true, but this piece definitely has some magical properties to it!! Incredible piece, brian! I don't know if I can come up with too many words for a reply either...this is one of those things that you have a hard time responding to, and yet you understand it so well. Not very many people can write things like this--you've got a gift!! Little Spyro T. Dragon |

Brian; This is so ethereal, the feeling I get is two who have attained a state of spiritual soul mates, that are beyond earthly passions. This poem is hauntingly lovely. Ellie 02 |

Hi Brian, A truly meaningful poem, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I cannot write poetry, however I like reading poetry. Sometimes poetry reflects my true emotions, and inspires me. Your poetry is very inspiring and I thoroughly enjoy reading it. Keep writing! Kind regards, Michelle stott, Wales |

"Curl into me, and speak with hushed breath, not words for they fail to express true emotion." Brian, I have to agree with dg and ellie....WOW. A state of spiritual soulmates...that's what I read too. Breathtaking, as I'm quickly learning most all your works are. Bravo! |
