Marvelous! I would say, and that is a big word for me but you made me think of it with this short message in poem.

Now this is a unique haiku!  I loved the imagery!  I especially love "autumn breezes in blowing kisses to the leaves."  what a nice touch!   Please share some more with us, I love haikus and senryus!

Dgvarner,
This is great, I hope you write more nature haikus!                 Dennis :^)

A SENRYU (Sen-ree-yoo) is a three lined unrhymed Japanese poetic form structurally similar to the Haiku (5-7-5 syllables), but, dealing with human rather than physical nature (birds, flowers, rain, water, etc), and Senryus are usually in an ironic or satirical vein.

Example:

Yesterday's regrets
tomorrows apprehensions
imprisons today

By Melissa Honeybee

I hope that this answers your question

Take care,
Melissa Honeybee

P.S. - I am sure that you would be good at Senryus!

A short message but it made a big impact
Lovely.

This gave me a smile to warm a snowy October day in Maine.  Thanks.
