Adrift in the ocean of stars The man of heaven and Lady of Earth There hands meet in the distance The heavenly and earthly realms Began to play the music of the night It whirls round my head In cascades of starlight As they waltz though moonlit sky I embrace a fallen moonbeam in my own hands As it rises and falls flying off suddenly with silver gossamer wings Above me they dance though the heavens The lady's hair like a net of stars Her hands the constellation, in his own from Orion to Andromeda and back again In theses days of yore, of fable and legend I drown in the heavens infinite Music in twilight, settles in my starry eyes I slumber as the enchanted souls part once more, As they have always done, since time began She to her earthen womb He to his haven of shadowed stars A love written in the stars..... The Exprerince of Survial is the key to the gravity of love Enigma Bard Gypsy |

WOW, this is one of the most beautiful poems I've read in a long time!!! Got carried away into the vacuum of space. There were possibly 2 typos (they always make me stop, and so they break the flow)-in line 3 , did you mean their? and in line 16, possibly these? I'm not a very good speller myself, so my dictionary gets quite a work out!! Thanks for the wonderful read! |
