These are some things I wrote years ago in Dutch and translated only recently, which is a lot harder than I thought. LOL Time is infinite hours can fly minutes can crawl you’ll never have time enough whether you are in need of or have too much at the end we’ll all say I did not have time enough Violence is an irrepressible outburst of fear. Master your fears and find peace. Youth flies by happy-go-lucky, carefree, unconcerned never sees trouble you do not wish when you’re young and so much want back once you’re older but,.... are we not as young as we feel at heart ? Dreams how wonderful to dream a dream for you to hide in find serenity escape from reality, even for a moment see each and every illusion come true dreams are beautiful dreams are fleeting dreams are deception ? or maybe, just maybe not ? Munda P.S. For who's interested, my Workshop poem is posted in the Dark Forum. I thought it to be a little bit too dark for here. : ) [This message has been edited by Munda (edited 01-29-2000).] |

You know, I wonder if this would sound better in Dutch... But no matter what language this would be in (Cebuano might sound nice--it's a language from the central Philippines), this would sound perfect. -Little Spyro T. Dragon |

Very nice, Munda. I can especially relate to the first one. If you look at my reply to PdV in my post "Saturday," you'll see why. ~Gene |

I loved this! Time has always been a favorite for me to write about. I have some wonderful friends who are Dutch. I can almost here that lovely accent in your poem. In the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. (ee cummings) |

Hi Munda, I saw your reply to my post, "Love and Hate" last night in Open#5. I just wanted you to know that I thought that was a very sweet thing for you say. That made me sleep well too. I replied to you hoping you would see it just before you signed off for the night. It wasn't anything much, I was just trying to impress you With my Dutch. ~Gene |

Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding- remain the most beautiful words ever heard. Janet Marie |
