These are some things I wrote years ago in Dutch and translated only recently, which is a lot harder than I thought. LOL


Time
is infinite
hours can fly
minutes can crawl
you’ll never have
time enough
whether you are
in need of
or have too much
at the end
we’ll all say
I did not have
time enough

Violence is an irrepressible outburst of fear.
Master your fears and find peace.

Youth
flies by
happy-go-lucky,
carefree,
unconcerned
never sees trouble
you do not wish
when you’re young
and so much want back
once you’re older
but,....  
are we not as young
as we feel at heart ?

Dreams

how wonderful
to dream
a dream for you
to hide in
find serenity
escape from reality,
even for a moment
see each and every
illusion come true
dreams are beautiful
dreams are fleeting
dreams are deception ?
or maybe,
just maybe
not ?
