As I sit and watch you sleep, I'm touched. Touched by the love I feel for you. Touched again by how much loving I recieve from you. Wishing that I could tell you how I feel. Instead, I write my love into this, your poem. You mean everything to me. You give me inspiration, understanding; You show me caring and passion. You are my soul, my air, my world. Spend eternity with me in the garden of paradise. Hold you, love you; that's all I want to do. Making me feel special, grand; a super star with a fan. Without you I'd wither, wilt; driving the sword to the hilt. Would my world crumble without you? I think so. Marry me, meet me at the altar to say "I do". Together forever, our lives intertwined. Blossoming like a rose in springtime, that's my love for you. Opening up to new dreams, new experiences with you. You will see my love bear fruit. Beared from the seed you planted in my heart. Take me, tell me you'll be mine. Now and forever, that's all I ask. Hoping now you see my love as true. True until death do we part. |

~epoet~ This is absolutely beautiful and so well written and full of love, passion and romance. It is clear in your words that you are forever devoted to your Jennifer. Thanks for sharing this! Have you shown this to her yet? Better bring some tissue when you do Take care, Melissa Honeybee |

I love the style of your work. Does Jennifer know she's loved as much as she is? Give her a copy of the poem or, tell her. This is beautiful. |

...Where do I start...first I have to catch my breath. I wish I had those things felt for me, so deep, so undying, and so true. This was trully a work of art, and someone is very lucky for you. I read through this twice, and though some stanzas rhymed, and others just went, it flowed with an all overwhelming sense of passion and love. And feeling is the overall determination of great writing...and yours is full of feeling. |

*~epoet~* **Definatly let Jennifer know how much she is loved. I think you have truly found what I would call, "a simple wish." You have what others, like myself, can only dream of. Good luck in your future with Jennifer!** Alicia A. Renzelman |

thank you one and all for the comments. This is how I proposed to her 5 years ago. She was going away to mackinac island for a weekend and I was going away for my 2 weeks of annual training for the army reserves. I left this poem on her pillow the morning I left and called her the monday following to find out what she said. She said yes and 5 years later we are still happily married. |
