Anne Your smile lights up my day Your eyes light up my life Your hugs surround the way I am Your heart lives within me Your hands surround my every touch And my life is death without you For you are me, In a sense my soul What helps me breath I call you Anne, You deserve a name You are more holy, pure, and spiritual Than I You are more patient, strong, and caring Than I You, Anne, are more Than I could ever be A little thought that I wrote a long time ago when I was struggling with my inner being and accepting myself for who I am I believe that Anne lives inside us all. I chose that name for her, after a friend who committed suicide in June of 1999. I hope that all of you can come to be very well acquainted with your inner being, or your Anne, as I like to refer to her. Sorry I rambled so much about this, it just means a lot to me, probably not nearly that much to you. Thank you. Alicia A. I've struggled with my twin That enemy within 'Till both of us fell by the way Sometimes 'Anne' can be hard to cope with for some people,I think it's a conscience kind of a thing.to be your true self. Don't you? Jon |
