They could'nt show. The love that was so strong. Because if others were to know they'd say it was wrong. So they stayed apart knowing they would die if someone were to get smart and find out their lie but instead of growing weak. there love still grew until it came to a peak and there was nothing to do but to let it all out. in a night full of love that left them without a doubt It was a gift from above But finally they were caught And asked to repent but no one would have thought they wouldn't be bent. we have commited no sin.. Is the answer they gave and in the end we will win cause our soul we did save And so they both died For a cause they found right for love they hadn't denied And had proved it that night So they loved unto death And their love did not sway And so they took their last breath knowing they couldn't take it away |

I just wanted to thank you all so much for the warm welcome, It makes me feel right at home. thank you, And after reading my own poem through a couple of times, I think I probably did not set the scene good enough, So just a quick explanation. It is about a man and woman living in the old times, when a woman had to wait seven years, before she could remarry, But her love for this man grew to strong. And I guess that is where the poem starts. well thanks again for the welcome, And yes I will keep posting, you can be sure of that.
