Christmas once more It's the glow from the windows, that brings you to town, snowflakes for clothing, and ice for a crown, coughing and sneezing, it's 30 below. but Christmas is here, and you simply must go. Demands from your children, demands from your kin, that wish list is growing, how to fit it all in, wrapping and baking, an arduous chore, but Christmas is calling, from every store. Oh I wish it was xmas, I had as a child, a star and a stable, the poor, meek and mild, voiced in the carols, exalted in hymns, tinsel and candles, with popcorn for trim. The spirit of Christmas, can't be found on a shelf, it's all about giving, and not about self, a generous heart, a considerate soul, more precious than gemstones, or silver and gold. So to all merry Christmas, to all a good night, may that star that you follow, stay joyous and bright, believe that the spirit, won't lead you astray, and keep love in your hearts, when you wake Christmas Day. All the best for the season and the new year to all at passions Is this heaven? |

The stores have already started their Christmas drives. And reading your lovely poem aligns the purpose to what it should be, lest we forget this too. Thanks for that. |
