I Throb The Wall |

I eavesdrop through a glass. I notice the deafening noise Behind this wall. I foresee This noise proves no glory- Like fate of Pyramus and Thisbe. It is like the love With hindrance. Yet, we Are obstinate to hear The truth, that only a Soul can break the silence Of the uproar of the insects. Fly on the wall. I will Still insist- that the World will conform to me. These humans behind this Wall must give in- to my Desires and pleasure. They should not enjoy The night because a heart Inside this chest longs For attention- this Miniscule will still Throb the wall. Unnoticed. - Sarah Gamutan |

Boy oh boy, I bet you felt unnoticed here at PiP. This was your first post and we didn't even welcome you. I think it is because this poem would have been more suited for the Open Forum. I think we just missed it. Well, it has been read. And it is never too late to welcome people to PiP. I hope that you return to share more of your poems with us. Thank you for sharing this one. Welcome and please come back. Alison |
