Each sunday as we gather here To raise our voice in song And lead the congregation So they wil sing along, We honor Christ our Saviour Almighty God and King, And ask him for his blessing And his love as we sing. We bring to life the Psalms. The Gloria's ring loud and true. The Alleluia's shake the rafters As we praise our God anew. And as each hymn is sung, God's word is heard once more As we rejoice in the promise That Heaven has in store. We are blessed to have this talent Sent by God above, To lift men's souls and hearts As we spread his peace and love. As we gather together again On this early Christmas morn, Let our voices ring out loud and clear That Christ our Saviour is born. Grandma Bea |

Hi Marge...so happy you enjoy my work...I just love yours...we seem to be on the same wave-length! I have been singing in church choirs since I was 14 yrs. old. I've been the soloist for this one for the past 15 yrs. Have moved several times in the ensuing years, but still keep going back to this one. I'll be 79 in January and they still want me around. The Lord must like what I'm doing...except for the fact that I can't reach high C anymore (who can!) he allows me this gift long after I thought it would be taken away. Music is my life! Bea P.S. Yes...I Will be caroling...have the hot choclate waiting for us! |

Sorry my reply is so tardy Joyce...I must have missed it. Church is where we need to be in these troubled times. Merry Christmas. Bea |

I wish I could be in the choir at a church but I don't have time or a way to make it to church. =[[. But i am in the school choir and we sing Christain music for the Christmas and Easter concerts. I liked this poem cause it reminded me a lot of that. Thank you. |
