TIS THE SEASON…. Tis the season… Expressing goodwill to all Charitable, volunteering and free full giving Every month this we should be reliving Tis the season… A birthday to celebrate Gift paper, ribbons & bows Jesus is how many years old? Tis the season… Decorations are everywhere Wreaths, Christmas trees and mistletoes Just what in our hearts does show? Tis the season… Fervently shopping for that perfect gift Ringing registers, crowded stores and sales prices How many thanks will be given to Christ? Tis the season… Pagan figures all in view Santa, Rudolph and Frosty are not strangers But where is the baby in the manger? Tis the season… Family gatherings for a great feast Turkey, Eggnog & Fruitcake The Last Supper, bread Jesus did break Tis the season… A time for caroling ‘Silent Night’, ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Do You Hear What I Hear? How often do we bring good cheer? Tis the season is over… All good will & merry wishes forgotten In another 11 months it will resurface again But how much will be lost by then? Merry Christmas To All Let’s not forget what this holiday is all about We should all take a moment and just recall…. This is God’s reason.. Tis the season |
