On this merriest of days some take their place and nod. They listen to the words which are the choice of God. Many are downtrodden. They have a broken heart. Many are forgotten. Some are set apart. On this joyful celebration, that of the blessed birth, we rush to them with cheer and wish them peace on earth. Passed the days of splendor as we come into the year, the story is the same- the ending always clear. We participate in ritual, again we will forget, and revert to human nature to leave a social debt. |
