~yah, i know it's alittle early( or late depending how you look at it) for a winter poem. I was going through some poems and found this one which I had written last year but never posted. now i have. Enjoy!~

I gazed upon the quiet street

Smooth with fresh laid snow

Everything seems so peaceful now

In the evening star's glow

I could see no other creature

Not one to make a sound

Nothing to break my silent thoughts

As winter's serenity surrounds
