We’ve grown in so many ways
In the last one hundred years
We’ve learned of pain and shared
A world of humanity’s tears

This holiday season reminds us
Just how important our lives can be
With each word, each deed
We create a history

Entering the millennium
May we always follow a quest
To live our lives for others
And to truly be the best!

This is the greeting I'll send this year as a Christmas card. I wanted to share it with you first!

Thank you, Poet, 'tis beautiful.

Nail to the mast her holy flag,
Set every threadbare sail-
And give her to the god of storms,
The lightning and the gale!

Beautiful, Sharon! I'm still trying to come up with one since you suggested it! No luck yet! I'll probably think of something to write on December 26th....hehehehehe

This is so beautiful. I also wrote one to print in my cards this year, but now that I see yours, I think I'll rewrite it.
I love the message.
