Freedom *** Freedom As I slowly speak out loud to taste the sense within Of this simple word As freedom How comes it overwhelmed me With melancholy, do I still taste fragrance of blood Why do I still hear the cry Of warriors from elsewhere Fighting for their rights Giving their lives For Freedom Right of every humans being But many aren’t allowed To taste a fragrance Of this costly word Like freedom Freedom A small simple word But contains so much more More than history ever told 'cause it's a part of every soul So please cherish always the freedom from within 'cause without doing that you can't stand for Freedom Charisma ~*TMP*~ 30/06/01 |

A very patriotic piece. I really enjoyed this poem Charisma. It put me in the spirit of the 4th of July. Very wonderful indeed. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

I think this needs to be put back on top of the list.. freedom rings loud in this piece. I enjoyed reading this very much. Live today as if it's your last. Love today as if it's your first. Lisa |
