Your cards with the cutest expressions, your whisper that tickled my ear, your grin as you handed me flowers - these scenes are now blurred by my tears. The scent of our love haunts the garden - its fragrance was planted to last; but now my heart's split by the arrow of Valentine memories past. ********************************************* (In loving memory of my husband) |

This brought tears to my eyes and this is the FIRST time I've ever felt this after reading a poem. This is so powerful, so sad.....it just over whelmed me. Wonderful job, beautiful poem......I just wish you never had to write it.........my condolences......This poem is one of my favs ever........I really don't feel good complimenting this poem though.....It pains me to know WHY you wrote it....and thus pains me to say "hey good job!"....Very sad....once again....my condolences.. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

This poem shows such a deep love centered in sadness, it makes one's emotions really flow. I hope the future will brighten your horizon. Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent. |

DD - thank you so much for your thoughts... I have to keep remembering to be thankful for the 22 years we had - and to let memories uplift rather than drag down...but I know it takes time. Bonnie, thanks - yes I must think about how precious they are... Kitkat, you are so very wise! Lost Dreamer, thank you for your thoughts and wishes. I gain strength from the support you have all generously offered...how wonderful these threads - Compassionate Forums *g* Thank you! Lary |
