Was a month before Christmas and all through the mall, Carols were blaring as tin speakers monotone did call, The garlands and lights were on ever exposed surfaces, Like the chocolates smeared on the children’s fat faces. As Santa changed to dry pants, his third of the day, The Happy Valley Quintet was starting to play. The food court was busying serving the crowd, The HVQ wasn’t very good but rather loud. Center stage was an act by a hyperactive boy Rolling and wailing over a $50 toy, The little girl kept her skirt pulled over her head, And both mother and father had faces that were red. just a few verses I added to a poem elsewhere feel free to add a few yourself, think of it as therapy. |

This one got a little chuckle out of me. I HATE going to the malls at Christmas time, but can still take joy in the fact that the little face's that hope for the toys, and enjoy all the candy with smeary faces, are a big part of the fun of Christmas. Lets don't dred the aftermath yet! Deb |

Therapy for what? haha great beginning......hope to see others contribute in their "therapy" sessions. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
