Something New Something new is now on offer - It will: Change your perspectives! Address your directives! A gift of no proffer, It can’t be taken home, Or be put on layaway In time for Christmas day, It isn’t THE answer, nor the latest tome. Won’t cure the common cold, Or make you young again, Not for the vastly vain - Can’t be procured or sold! Something new and wonderful Is coming straight to you, So perhaps its time you knew - It’s original, bountiful, It isn’t progress, or a new century, Not a snow globe from the North Pole Or a stocking full of black coal, But a bequest of love, for you and me. Once we embrace it, and let go my friend Nothing can erase it, love shall transcend. © 1999 Corinne Bailey |

That is the best gift of all, and Christmas is the perfect time to remember it. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Tru dat tru dat! Great poem and wonderful thoughts!! "I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust." I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
