Oh how the passion flowed < !signature-->when we first met. We swam upon loves deep sea of delight. The world went away, just us two, and yet, no matter that we, need only loves light to guide us in this song of melody, through years of strife and pain our song endured. Kissed my soul your lips made loves deeper be. The essence of loves deepest pain then soared. Passions height was not so high as deep is love that pain refines in fires kept ablaze, by hearts entwined that as true love that tis deepest love that's truer than passions days. So then that passions high we knew at first, has come to depths of passions deepest love, that quenches souls and hearts most needed thirst, to Grace our oneness God has from above. 02 [This message has been edited by ellie LeJeune (edited 05-27-2000).] |

ellie, I always enjoy your poetry. I especially liked the line, "fires kept ablaze,"; Lovely reminders written with true passion. Blessings, Marcy |

Ellie you are truly blessed. It is so sad that so many marriages end abruptly as soon as the ambers die, losing all hope for a rekindling of the flames that burned so brightly in the beginning. I can relate well to this poem and I apreciate the fact that rebuilding of a marriage, is well worth the effort, in a couple's later years, there is so much comfort and joy sitting together around that old campfire of love, sharing memories and the results of a combined labor of love. I think you know what I am talking about. |

"So then that passions high we knew at first, has come to depths of passions deepest love", Ellie, this is one of the most beautifully expressed descriptions of love i ever read. This notion never crossed my mind, but it is so true. Thank you for bringing it to mind. I love when someone puts into words something that is known but never thought. Now I will savor the wonder of your words Liz |

Such a sonnet it 'twere. I liked the flow of the fires as they burned bright. This is lovely. ^_^ Amanda Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate, Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date. Sometimes too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed; And every fair from fair sometimes declines, By chance or nature's changing course, untrimmed. But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st; Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st. So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. William Shakespeare |

Dear Ellie, Another beautiful one here. It is amazing how love changes, our experiences and expectations change- yet Love go on. I am so happy that your love has grown, matured and flourished over the years. You are blessed and we by you in the sharing of your life's richness. Thank you so very much, David "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb) |

Ellie~ This is just so lovely ... I especially like - 'song of melody, through years of strife and pain our song endured.' Keeping the 'melody' alive is sweet harmony with another heart that makes your own sing more joyously. God is good. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
