Circle of Faith

I care that you believe
and would not ever leave
your choice of faith

For I have faith
in you
and what you do

and if you hear a call
to lead one and all
to yours

do it.

I care that you would trust
in my faith I do not rust
for I believe.

Now whether we are one
or whether we are another
I am sister to sister, brother to brother.

All I ask that if there be light
you be the candle so bright
to live, and love

A guiding light.

Sunshine; The title and the message to your lovely poems sums up exactly how I feel. So glad you wrote this poem. Same wonderful God, same precious Savior, Jesus in all our churches and hearts. Jesus doesn't wear a banner or label, that I have read anywhere. Bless you Sunshine, Marcy

Sunshine ,
I think your poem here expresses somewhat the Passions Philosophy of tolerance-being able to disagree and yet not be disagreeable but loving. Jesus said in John 13:35, "By this shallall men know ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another"  not as it sometimes seems and is practiced-"if ye hate all others."  I hope that all will feel free to express their feelings and faith here in this forum, not as a put down to others- but as a beacon of their own love and faith.
Thank you for this tenderly sensitive poem,
keeping us headed first and foremost in the ways of Love and Faith.   David

Karilea~
Circles are never-ending
as long as He is the center of our focus.
Joining us all together through
our faith ... no matter.

He comes when we call Him ...
though some may pronounce His name
differently than I would know.

Circles - encircling ...
what is in our hearts.
The candle burns brightly.
Thanks for your lovely message, dear friend.

Thank you all for your comments...isn't it great that He allowed that Ron's wisdom bring this Forum here for everyone?...

You certainly hit the nail on the head, Sunshine, with the utmost grace in beautiful verse.  Either we're all (every denomination) on a bus together with Jesus as our driver headed toward heaven, or none of us are going anywhere good.
