The lessons I have learned
I only pray
My spot in heaven
They have earned

Blessed be
The people I have known
They have all done their part
In helping me to grow

Blessed be
The ones who've shown me love
Next to God
There is none I hold above

Blessed be
My ability to forgive
It has made my life
Easier to live

Blessed be
The gifts bestowed on me
So that I may pass them
Unto thee

Blessed be
My little boy
He is the source
Of my greatest joy

Blessed be
The day
That we are called home
To stay
For that will be the time
We've truly
Found our place
