At present The difficulty in standing here is the truth of my thoughtless ways I must exhaust the essence of grace and yet, I know that he still prays It is by pride that I am led and generally, by pride that I am fed but I know now that it is this which rules the sad and selfish lives of fools Such sighing hurts my God he cries as my unbelief spreads for his spirit knit my reason and shifting doubt pulls vital threads My stupid words from an empty head tired regrets, its all been said nothing lasts, but a desperate prayer a deep need to escape from fear I’m crawling towards a quiet God a humble, forgiving place to rid the humanness and then, to cool my burning face |

Indeed, Pride cometh cheap, lesley.,,and it's not only God we hurt with our pride, but ourselves. I don not think God is quiet however, those who have there ears turned toward Him I believe can hear Him load and clear. If you keep moving towards Him, you will to. Michael |
