WHY DO WE

I have a question I need to ask
for it puzzles me along my way
it's if Jesus loves us unconditionally
Why Do We allow the world to ruin our day

We care so much about what people think
about our weight,heightand hair
yet Jesus designed us as we are
in His tender loving care

We allow the world to take away our special
and turn it into ugly or bad
when the gifts that Jesus gives us
are to make us happy not sad

A love relationship gone sour
we feel so lost and unloved
but there Jesus sits on his throne
with more love than we can ever think of

hurt after hurt,disappointment and despair
jobs, people and society places upon our hearts
yet Jesus hand is always outstretched to hold
and through his love newness can start

Instead of feeling empathy
for the narrowminded people of today
we let them take away and rob
the wisdom and strength of Jesus that he gives away

Day after day minute by minute
Jesus is there by our sides
saying"Child Don't Despair
For Never Will I Decieve You Or Lie"

Do you see my point here
there is no greater love we could ever own
than the love of jesus Christ
that comes from the seeds that we've sown

Never a wrong to wrongful
Never a problem to hard or tough
Never a heartbreak not mendable
Never a storm to dark or rough

God will be there for it all
Healing,Saving,Uplifting everyone
for His love has no beginning or end
it's endless and forever through the blood of His Son

So next time you feel sad
hurt,full of pain or disgraced
REMEMBER people are just people
but GOD is full of Mercy and Grace

Let us take what The Lord offers us
use the Holy Love that never ends
understand and acknowledge our own selfworth
then the world can never hurt us again

So uplifting are these beautiful promises you're reminding us of! So flowing and lovely is the verse you've written!  I'm most appreciative of your postings, as well as prayers for Timmy & Rosie, plus your kind word os encouragement.
Once someone asked if anyone ever tells a plant or flower how lovely they've decided to be.  Of course, the compliments belong to the creator or keeper.  Bless you.

Rose, Your poem is beautiful. You have given us meat. Unfortunately, free will allows pain to be inflected unto each of us, by no fault of our own. (no one here, just life in general).Sometimes we inflect pain needlessly or ignornantly. You have given us the answer. Seek Jesus in everything, including, making (me) more sensitive to the words I type, the words I speak to my family
and friends. Witness more for Him. Most important of all, to remember to give Jesus a love offering EVERY DAY of our life. That's the least we can do. You did a wonderful job, Amen.

This was awesome! And oh do we ever let the ways of the world get in our path. This was really awesome as you've described how God is always there for us, even though we go through trials and tribulations here!
I love this!!

Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
