MY LEAF I have a heart thats wounded beaten down, battered and torn a life full of confusion and fear to many people have I mourned Like the leaf caught in the wind being held prisioner by it's strength growing weaker everyday becoming more invisible and faint I come from a beautiful tree detached by the devil's hand fell prey to his treachery now I am aimlessly floating through this land Child can you hear me as you float past heaven's door the devil's wind is strong but My Power holds much more The Wind that comes from Heaven is always gentle, warm and sweet it carries my Holiness to you so you can be full and complete The beautiful tree that gave you life still lives inside of you cry out Jesus save me let me be the wind that carries you through Life is not easy but in Me there is peace it's all there for the asking to bring you sweet release JESUS save me I cried out loud as my dark tattered leaf fell to the ground in one breath God raised me up and He swirled my New Leaf around Yellow and red in brightness not a rip or tear to be found God's heavenly wind carries me now keeping me safe and sound We all in one way or another at times are pulled away from our beautiful tree so remember the story of My Leaf and how God's holy wind will always save you and me written by rose mary(c) 5/5/2000 sadie1030 |

Rose Mary; An incredibly beautiful analogy. I feel this way so many times when I let my stubborn will get in the way and wonder why I end up in a mess, then I call His name, and almost instantly, everything is alright. Thank you, Ellie 02 |

I like the metaphor of being a leaf carried by the winds, because we often feel that helpless, yet you promt to call out to Christ, which we all need to remember to do. Thank you . |
