I Looked to Him I wrestled in the dark Looking for a simple ray of light I had to get my life Out of the depths of night But where could I go To keep from sinking low? I looked to Him The One who set the stars in place I looked to Him The One who called my name When I needed a hand And when I wanted to run I looked to Him I remember a time When all I could see was the end I felt so alone So in need of a friend But what could I find To give me peace of mind?
