Master Of The Storm By the window she sat in silence, as nights dark curtain fell. She watches the trees waltz with the breeze as storm clouds swiftly swells. Fierce lightening strikes across the sky, stirring thoughts of yesterday. Of a stormy night and three little boys who have long since gone away. How they gathered close beside her, till the storm had blown away. And as memories drift into her mind, her eyes now close to pray......... Oh mighty God, master of all storms, please hear the words I say. Reach down your hand and calm the storms within their lives today. |

RainChild~ The fervent prayer of all mothers when our children are apart from us. Beautifully written. And after the storm ... the calm. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
