CHANGE MY WAYS I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE PIT OF DESPAIR I HAVE FELL IN MY HEART KNOWS THAT WITH JESUS PEACE MY HEART CAN FIND ONCE AGAIN BUT THE DEVIL SAYS "I, AM HUMAN WATCH FOR THE BREAK IN MY WALL" THEN ATTACK ME WITH SELF PITY AND BE CONFIDENT THAT I WILL FALL I KNOW WHERE ALL THE CURES LIE TO THE PROBLEMS THAT BESIEGE ME I KNOW THE ANSWERS ARE IN JESUS FOR ONLY HE CAN SET ME FREE THE HURT OF ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP GONE WRONG ONCE AGAIN CONVINCING MYSELF I FOLLOWED GOD'S CALL KNOWING I, AM LYING AND THAT'S A SIN WANTING ALL THE RIGHT FOR ME BUT NEVER REALLY STEPPING OUT OF THE BOAT I TALK A GOOD GAME PLAN BUT I SINK BEFORE I CAN FLOAT MY MIND CONSTANTLY SURRENDERS TO ALL MY HEART WISHES TO DO MY SPIRIT SAYS "GET UP AND GET OUT" BUT THE DEVIL KNOWS HOW TO KEEP ME BLUE DROWNING ME IN SELF PITY SORROW AND REGRETS OF MY LIFE BUT MY SOUL CRIES OUT DON'T LISTEN GO TO YOUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST OH LORD I LISTEN DAILY TO HOW YOU CAN CHANGE ALL OF MY WAYS AND MY HEART AND SOUL ARE WILLING BUT MY PHYSICAL MIND SHUTS THEM OUT EACH DAY HELP ME MY LORD JESUS TO BECOME ALL YOU WANT ME TO BE LIFT THE CURSE OF LAZINESS AND SELF PITY THAT THE DEVIL ENJOYS PLACING IN ME LET ME WALK THE TALK I TALK LET THE EXAMPLES I SHARE COME TO LIFE TAKE MY HEART, MIND, SOUL AND SPIRIT AND USE ME MY JESUS CHRIST GIVE ME STRENGTH AND WISDOM LORD EYES OF YOURS TO TRULY SEE THROUGH JESUS MAKE THIS DEVIL FLEE FROM ME FOR I WANT TO SERVE AND OBEY YOU WRITTEN BY: ROSE MARY FERGUSON (c)[email protected] 5/17/99 |

Rose Mary; You faith is strong and you know from where your healing comes, so all you need do, is what you've done and that is total surrender and wait on Jesus' healing. I about got tears in my eyes with this one. Oh, how I can relate! The spirit is willing but the flesh isn't. That's when we need to pray that our spirit will rule the flesh and not the other way around. Without sorrow, and misfortunes we cannot appreciate the joy. A very honest poem from your heart. Everyday we have to put Satan in his place. Here is a little prayer, I didn't write it don't know the author but it is very helpful to say every morning. Good morning, Father Good morning, Jesus Good morning, Holy Spirit Good morning, Angels It's a bad morning for you Devil! Because I'm up, and in the Name of Jesus You are under my feet!! Stomp!! Oh the struggles of the heart If we allow-they'll pull us apart- But if in Christ, our hope is staid, We can have peace within us made! You speak so graphically of the struggle we all must face as humans--but Believe that Jesus is Stronger than the Devil-Smarter, Kinder,and the true Prince of Peace for our Hearts & Lives. Two passages I would point you to are I John 4:4/ and Romans 8:31-31. They give me great comfort and strength, and I know they can do the same for you. He might not come when you call Him, but He's always on time. a real old gospel saying i believe. i prayed this to God as i read it. it is divine. and even tho you are human, you still let go & let God. that is what he asks. you can do no more!!!! *****kynder quote: |
