"NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN" I STOOD BY A FULL BLOSSOMED TREE AS THEY DRAGGED YOU UP THE HILL WHAT HAS HE DONE? I WONDERED THAT THE SOLIDERS ARE SO EAGER TO KILL I WALKED OVER TO A WOMAN WHO WAS CRYING ON HER KNEES PLEASE LADY CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THIS MAN HAS DONE TO DIE ON THAT TREE? SHE LOOKED UP AT ME WITH LOVING EYES THAT WERE FILLED WITH JOY, YET ALSO SORROW HER VOICE QUIVERED AS SHE SAID TO ME "THAT IS GOD'S SON CHRIST THE GIVER OF YOUR TOMORROWS" AS I HEARD THE HAMMER POUNDING THE NAILS I ASKED WHAT DO YOU MEAN? SHE TOOK MY HAND AND HELD IT TIGHT SAYING"NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN" FOR YOU ARE WITNESSING A REBIRTH THE NEW BEGINNING FOR ONE AND ALL A WAY FOR EVERY MAN,WOMAN AND CHILD TO BE FREED OF SIN AND THE DEVIL'S CALL I HAD TO GO WALK CLOSER TO HIM FOR I WAS REALLY PUZZLED BY THIS TIME AS I STOOD BENEATH THE CROSS OF CHRIST I FELT A PRESENCE SO DEVINE THE SKY GREW DARK IN A MYSTERIOUS WAY FLASHES OF LIGHTING WERE EVERYWHERE CHRIST WHISPERED "FORGIVE THEM FATHER WITH SUCH TENDER LOVING CARE THAT I FELT TEARS RUNNING DOWN MY FACE FOR THIS MAN I NEVER KNEW BUT I FELT MY HEART FILL WITH HIS LOVE WISHING THERE WAS SOMETHING I COULD DO SO BEFORE THIS CROSS I FELL TO MY KNEES PRAYING DEAR GOD PLEASE SAVE YOUR SON WHEN I HEARD A MERE WHISPER SAYING "HE IS ON HIS WAY HOME HIS WORK IS DONE" THEN IN THAT INSTANT NO MORE SORROW DID I FEEL FOR I KNEW THAT CHRIST WOULD LIVE AGAIN AND THAT TO ALL OF US HE WOULD REVEAL THAT HE IS THE DOORWAY TO HEAVEN THE FORGIVER OF ALL OUR SINS THAT IN HIM WE CAN FIND TRUE LOVE AND A NEW WAY TO START OVER AGAIN SO REMEMBER ALWAYS THE STORY OF THE CROSS AND JESUS CHRIST FOR THE BLOOD THAT HE SHED THAT DAY IS THE BLOOD NEEDED TO CHANGE A LIFE WRITTEN BY ROSE MARY (c)4/4/2000 SADIE1030 |
