As morning dawned
The brothers were
Sent on their way
Traveling just
A small journey
When Joseph's steward
Caught up with their caravan
Demanding they open their sacks
(Little did they know about the scheme
Joseph had planned)
As each one opened his sack
More silver was found.
And far graver sin
Was found
When out of the mouth
Of Benjamin's sack
Poured Joseph's silver cup
A deed if proved true
Could only mean death
For Benjamin
And slavery for his brothers

The brothers tore their clothes
In terror and disbelief
For they knew for these deeds
They were innocent
Yet
Guilty of others

SeptSong, Another fine installment here in this riveting Biblical Drama. And what do see? If we sow to the wind, According to the Book of Hosea, we will reap the whirlwind. And this is what is happening here-Years ago in their jealousy and greed-they sought to eliminate their young brother. (sowing to the wind) only to have him now give them a taste of their own misdeeds and trickery(Joseph at this point, unbeknown to them had come back with a vengence) thus they, were presently reaping the whirlwind- in the worst case scenario of all a lose-lose-lose situation-Lose Benejamin/lose their freedom-and surely(it seemed) lose their father as this woulkd mean the last straw-and kill the father outright. This However as we will see- is the Storm before the calm, for after all, as you have entilted this series, God meant it for Good!--I'm also ready for the next episode, Thank you for your labor of love, David
