(I didn't realize how long this was going to be when I started, and everytime I started to write I thought the end was just around the corner, but I found that was not how it was turning out, so from now on I am just going to post one poem a day in this series till it is over with. (like a soap opera maybe or your (One a day pill.) whatever!

Coming home to Canaan
The brothers told Jacob their father
About everything that had happened in Egypt
Of the silver in their brother's sack
And how they were to bring Benjamin back.

Then as they were emptying the rest of their sacks
In each bag was found his pouch of sliver
Right before their eyes.

In astonishment and fright
Jacob lamented
"You have deprived me of my children
Joseph is no more!
Now you want to take Benjamin too!
Everything's against me!
If harm comes to Benjamin
My gray head
Will go down to the grave
Woe is me..
What am I to do?

Then Reuben feeling responsible
A father himself
Said, You may put both
My sons to death,
If I do not bring Benjamin back
Entrust him to my care
You have my solemn vow
He will be coming back.
