The worried cow
Would have lived til now,
Had she saved her latest breath,
But she feared her hay,
Wouldn't last all day,
So she mooed herself to death.

HAVE NO ANXIETY ABOUT ANYTHING THUS SAYS THE LORD.

-----------------------

I have for a long time had trouble trusting the Lord for everything. I so often worried and stressed about things, when if I had only handed them over to God; I would have been fine. I wrote this poem as a witty reminder to myself that there is no point in worrying and stressing....the Lord is in control at ALL TIMES!!!!!

Dear Ruthie; I love the whimsy and the wisdom, all rolled together! You are right, this is a great reminder. I struggle with this too and am getting better at letting go and not taking it back. Jesus really does His best work when I stay out of the way! Love, Ellie

Dear Ruthie,
Love the poem. I've been there too. If only we would take a moment to remember that the
Lord is always in control. He always provides for us.
May He always provide for you.
Blessed be the Lord.

Love your little reminder.  I, too wrote one concerning this:   Worry
Worry's like a rocking chair,
No matter how fast or slow we go,
It all gets us nowhere.

I love this! I often do the same things. Though when I stop and look back, I have to say He's been nothing but faithful in getting me through all things. Always, somehow, someway we made it.

So why do we still have problems letting go? Human nature I suppose...a good reminder like the one above is a great start!

Ruthie, this is precious. You had me all primed for "the red heifer". So cute! Marcy
