A few little words is all it takes, To again, knock me right off my feet, Those nagging fears returning once more, But - I can't give up in defeat. So here I am, again on my knees, Pleading for strength to see me through, Asking for You to help me endure, Whatever it is I must do. So many unanswered questions, So much doubt about what's ahead, Lord help me to jump this new hurdle, And stay with me, wherever I'm led. Please help me to hold on tighter, To take care of what needs to be done, I need You every step of the way, To get this battle won. I am giving it all up to You Lord, And "Thy Will Be Done," I know, I'm here Lord to do whatever I must, To be where You want me to go. Funny, just a few little words, Yet their power sent me to the floor, But this time I'm calling on You Lord, Never again will I close that door. |

Dear Bonnie; I can't believe it! I 've got a battle right now with my job and boss that are really treatng me unfairly and just today I realized that I'm not letting Jesus fight the battle for me, I keep taking it back. i know how you feel! it's amazing how quickly a few little words can bring you down! isn't it wonderful that God doesn't mind that we have trouble keeping our eyes on him as long as we are trying to trust him and constantly clinging to him! you have captured the image very well. |
