When God sighs
Do you feel the breeze
Upon your weary cheek
Does it lift your spirits then
Do you find all that you do seek?

When God whispers
Do you hear the words
He says close to your ear
Does it answer what you ask
Does it make life’s meaning clear?

When God cries
Do you feel His pain
Can you understand His plight
Do you know He cries for you
And hopes you do what is right?

When God smiles
Do you feel the warmth
Of the glow from his eyes
Do you feel the whispers of love
Do you feel His grateful sighs?

Dear Poet Devine; Awesome inspiration! I think we forget that God has all the emotions that we do. Lovely, just lovely!

Fabulous Devine! Not always feeling him in the breeze, but it sure will make me think of that next time I feel one!

I saw the most awesome sunset tonight and was thanking God for such a beautiful painting! Oh the colors were purely awesome!
Purple, and orange and pink, and deep orange. It got even more beautiful each moment as the colors got deeper. Breathtaking it was!  Just had to share that.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I read that phrase "God Sighs"....and it triggered something...yes, I do believe in His guiding hand in my work sometimes...some poems write themselves, as this one did....Muse or God.. I prefer to think the latter... thanks again.

Poet DeVine, You are such a master at skillfully crafting your words and concepts into masterpieces. Your poem hear is delightful, inquisitive, and very suggestive of the emotional/and empathetic level of communication and fellowship we can and should have with our Loving Creator & God.
A hardy Bravo to you dear!   David

I really liked this poem alot.  Having an awareness of God is so needed in life, yet so many seem oblivious to his reality and presence.  There is a bible verse that says "the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead . . ." (Romans
1:20).  I think that all of the universe is his artwork and has his signiture (or superior skill) imposed on every part.

Keep up the good poetry!

Another great piece from your talented mind you've been blessed with.  Jesus often used  questions to make people really think to learn.
