Each morning at dawn God blesses my front porch With the golden rays of his sunshine Through the tops of Lopbolly trees The wind play a harp Carrying sweet melodies On the breeze across my front porch After the rush of morning routines I sit and drink a sip of nature At the dining table Of my front porch While I relax and ponder Cardinals and Blue Jays Gather to play around My front porch. Their chipperie songs Remind me each day How I mustn't forget To give thanks For all those things I never Even had to ask Because He provided them Free With No strings Attached From My Front Porch. Beautiful message from a thankful heart. I sit at my dinette table looking out the bow window thanking Him for the towering pine trees, gently falling snow, or summer flowers I view from there. Like your front porch, this is my favorite place. |

Georgia's on my mind! I used to sit on my chair there in the summer and watch the sun come up! Most peaceful times I've had, and oh boy do I miss those moments! <*\\\>< There's only two ways you can go... One way you can save your riches, And the other will save your soul. Rich Mullins |

Yes a lovely poem. I sit and look out my front window, now that the rhodies are beginning to bloom and the grass has been mowed. Joyce |

How serene this setting must be. To be blessed with early morning beauty in the presence of God, is truly a gift. Very nice poem. Deb |

I guess I didn't back to check on this poem, thanks for bringing it up again, and if it was put in the newsletter, or being considered I thank you, that is wonderful. Glad you enjoyed. |
