i am learning to let be all that was meant to be. Slowly, I'm learning to let Love be free. No longer crushing madly, killing love. Now, gentleness and peaceful waiting. Timing no longer frantic, moments of sweetness lost to anxiety and fear, precious gifts of love unseen, through angry haste. Never too late - this moment is here. This moment to be savored, to be. All the time I need to be still, to be aware. To savor Love's sweet moment. 02 |

Oh Ellie, this poem is absolutly beautiful!!! What a lovely way to start the day... finding this inner peace is so healing and gives us so much strength. This poem is full of wisdom and grace... "Never too late - this moment is here. This moment to be savored, to be. All the time I need to be still, to be aware. To savor Love's sweet moment." just beautiful... like the poet who wrote it janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding- remain the most beautiful words ever heard. Janet Marie |

Beautiful indeed! Inner peace that comes from God's love. What comes to mind is "BE still and know that I am the Lord." <*\\\>< Where there is faith, there is love. Where there is love, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is GOD. Where there is GOD, there is no need. Hallmark |

Ellie, Such a difficult thing in life is to learn to trust God enough to let things be the way they are supposed to be and feel peace about it. What is, IS. This expresses it so beautifully! |

Amen & Amen, a delightfully insightful poem-which reflects the wisdom of experience and maturing,(note I didn't say age!) I can relate well to what you are saying. Should we tell the younger ones also that If we don't slow down on our own, that God & Time have a way of doing so and thus giving us the opportunities which we once sped by, unnoticed? Thank dear Ellie for another truly blessed poem, David "Our Creativity points to a Higher Creator--we couldn't have just happened, and for what ability we may possess--to God be the glory." -dlw- |

Thank you for this beautiful message, Ellie! As an old man of 83, I thought that after 60 years of marriage, to the same woman, I knew enough of the female psyche to understand her fully. Being one of the few males on this forum has confronted me with some truths I was not yet aware of, and I learned... So, again, thank you Ellie, and all the other sweet girls that write here for teaching me those valuable lessons. BTW, my wife says hello to you, she loves your poems, too. And with good reason. Ellie this one is SO good, I just had to read it again and bring it back up so all could enjoy its sweetness... so it can "Just Be" here for awhile longer..."Still"...(smile) janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time.
