Navigating

My Bible's showing signs of wear,
Because I take it everywhere.
I always slip it in my purse,
So I can find my favorite verse.
It's comforting for me to know,
That it's beside me when I go.

No matter what event arises
And life's full ogf great surprises,
I feel armed with it's protection,
Traveling in each direction.

It's full of bookmarks I have found,
To mark the passages, profound,
With special meaning just for me,
Like beacons in life's stormy sea!

Some people like to find a star,
Telling them just where they are
And this works quite well, I've heard.
I'm navigating by His Word!

Yes, yes, I truly feel His love is always like a compass rose that shows us the way to the lodestar we wish upon and with its powerful words helps us cross the obstacles to get there from here!
