I'm not ashamed of my faith
in the Lord...I live!
The faith that carries me
the hope that it gives.

I'm not ashamed to say His name
to let the world know
that it's Jesus I love
it's His way I'll show.

I'm not ashamed of His word
I will utter it till I die
it's a part of my life
He saved me that's why.

He lifted me from sin
He cleansed me with His blood
I was washed white as snow
by that blessed crimson flood.

I'll never be ashamed
how could I ever be?
When He saved my soul
His love enveloped me.

Why be ashamed...those that don't know about the sacrifice He made for us are the once that are ashamed. He bled and died for us to be saved...He wasn't ashamed of us then.

(smiles) Yes, I truly believe He did what He did to save us all and He himself was never ashamed for now our love for Him is stronger than ever before and He loves us all and wishes for us to be safe from sin! A strong and powerful proclamation and testimony of your Love and Faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No, we can't be ashamed because God has done so very much for us indeed. Good job here my poet friend and may God continue to bless your fervency in Him. -Bob
