Beside me in this life
is a presence so real
not based upon a whim
nor on what I might feel.

But upon a prayer of faith
of supplication to the one
who died to pay a debt
that was owed by everyone.

In love He gave His life.
In love He bore the pain,
so that I could then in love
have heaven as my gain.

To serve Him in this life
to serve Him eternally,
I don't think is much to ask
for the gift He gave to me.

(big huggsssssss) Oh Anne, I do believe with all my heart He suffered to save us all and now that He sits high in the heavens with might there is hope and we can find alvation in believing in it! I woke up today and I was pretty upset with God. I lost my boyfriend last night and I'm truly hurt by it. I tried my hardest to take him to the Lord but he would just not give in. I know the Lord has someone out there for me...someone who I will share eternity with. Thank you for your inspiring words.
