Love Stars

Behind storm clouds, stars disappear
in shades of hate and gloom of fear
for Love that was has gone astray
and all that's left are skies of gray.

Below storm clouds, the rivers flood
and turn the green grass into mud
for Love that was has turned to tears
and all that sorrows seem none hears.

Above storm clouds, the atmosphere
remains the same and still is clear
for Love remains up shinning bright
and filling hearts with Hope and Light.

Around storm clouds, a silver glow
shines through to touch the world below
for Love will not its presence veer
and won't be swayed by what appears.

About storm clouds, stars reappear
to make well known that GOD is near
for Love outshines our deepest doubts
and brings us Joy when stars come out.

How do you do that wonderful framing?

Your poem is impeccable, too, in its rhyme and soft, assurring message.

So glad someone else has popped in here since I posted yesterday. It's been so quiet. Much more than the last time I visited.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
