Sleep Forever I know I chose to be here, Right now, to embrace this devout experience. My soul, contained by this body This body, restraining me. As design would have it, Any memory of anything before this; nonexistent. And I, an insignificant being, so clueless, As to what lies ahead, beyond this life. Maybe this mortality is but a dream, A never-ending dream, and I shall sleep forever. Perhaps, when I die, I will awaken, And begin the next phase. By chance, this life could be reality, And I am entirely awake, and fully conscious. When I pass away, maybe then, I will succumb to an endless slumber. -Stryder Why do they call it "Common Sense" when so many people are obviously lacking it? |
