"I Go Ahead"

"I go ahead to make a place for you."
My Jesus promised me, His word is true.
"Remember all the lessons that I taught,
Walking along the path with danger fraught."

When Christ came down to live with man on Earth.
The angels heralded His holy birth.
The stories in Mark, Matthew, Luke and John
Tell of the feats performed by God's own Son.

There were a few who walked where Jesus walked.
They listened closely as their loved Lord talked.
They learned His lessons and they learned them well.
They went both far and wide the tale to tell.

They preached to all the folks who'd lend an ear,
Of the home kept for us in "afterhere".
The known world would the apostles roam,
'Til their friend Jesus called and took them home.

The story must be told persistently
"Til everyone has heard the history
Of how the good Lord came to set us free
And of the waiting home for you and me.

Joyce,
As I am new to religion and have so much to learn.  I enjoy your poem and look forward to learning as much as I can.  I never knew religion. I knew of it but nothing about it.  I am learning now and your poem only inspires me to learn more.  Thank you.

(smiles) Yes, yes, understanding Christ is not just about believing in Him but also understanding where He came from. Without the knowledge of the past we are never truly convinced that He performs such greatness, whereas we can easily relate to Him and worship Him of His infinite good deeds! (big hugggssssss) This is awesome, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Dear Anonymity.  Having been raised in a home of simple Christian faith, I forget  that everyone does not have that background of a solid connection with God. You have come to the right place.  There are honest believers here.  Love, Joyce

Joyce,

Yes, the apostles are a great example for us to follow today for even then did they have a tremendous since of urgency that the "Kingdom of GOD" was at hand and we who are alive today should certainly have no less urgency to tell the world the Good News.  Thank you for sharing this very inspirational poem to go out and tell somebody that GOD came to set them free and that He has prepared a place for them that where He is they may be also.  GOD bless and thank you for sharing.

Your poetry's always such a joy to read that even ingrained truths are renewed in your pieces. The Good News is always worth repeating to those who do and don't know alike. What a blessing you are to all of us here.

Thanks,
