My Compass A life is like a map, I think. God plots it when we're on the brink Of entering the world through birth, To take our place upon the earth. This is our starting point.We know Each day we change and move and grow And suddenly become aware That there are dangers lurking there. God gives us choices on the way To where He waits for us someday. What we avoid and what we choose, Determines if we win or lose! Win His favor and take our place Within His pastures, filled with Grace, Or go astray along the route And find that we are counted out. The road is wide, the clues are there To help us pass each hidden snare. His words our guide, we realize That salvation is our prize!
