Just an ordinary day
Just a walk in the park
A siren starts to sound
A dog begins to bark
Children play in laughter
A song is in the air
A kite flies on a string
But no one really cares

Just an ordinary day
Just a moment in time
The sun is in the sky
A poet writes a rhyme
Neighbors yell in anger
A car slams on its brakes
A child learns a lesson
But not without mistakes

Just an ordinary day

When the trump shall sound and the Saints shall rise
When all of Creation looks up to the sky
When the mounts shall fall and the seas shall roar
When all of GOD's Kingdom bows down to the Lord

Just an ordinary day

loved the graphic of the ascension of Christ--a thoughtful rendition and a nice reminder as we do tend to get caught up in the daily thoughts--staying on track can be difficult.

I appreciate this one much!

Very nicely written, Bob. A wonderful poem illustrated with wonderful illustration reminding us of Christ returning.

But what starts as an ordinary day, will hardly end as an ordinary day. No Way!
