Roaming deeper into beauty
Farther, I smile while climbing
Searching for that step closer to eternity
My hands out stretched, reaching.
Holding everything loved close inside
Torn free from my selfish pride.
I see you there
Hidden in the wonder of this Valley’s care.
Sheltered by trees
Watched by leaves.
It’s here I’ve traveled to
Looking for you.
Although it’s been my troubled change
Lost along roads that felt the same.
It’s here, deep in this land
I’ve longed to just understand
That all we’ve ever needed is all we have.
Too many have fallen from themselves
I reach for you, afraid of a loneliness called Hell.
So take hold of my hand with great strength
My comforted Faith
Deep, here in this land, beyond those Golden Gates
Just promise that you’ll always wait.
