He has sent me to proclaim freedom … to release the oppressed," NIV Luke 4:18 I've got Peace, peace, wonderful peace Deep in my soul as I slowly release I've abandoned my cares. Now I feel so at ease With sweet gentle peace. And now I am whole. ***** I hear The Son calling Come to me darling climb into my bed Join me in repentance; hear all that I've said For I am your Savior, my blood has been shed Imbibe me! Accept Me! Take Me into your soul. With Peace, peace, wonderful peace Deep in my soul as I slowly release I've abandoned my cares now I feel so at ease With sweet gentle peace.And now I am whole. ***** I called to my Savior, please God come to me I give you my hurting, please, please set me free I cannot live with this deep misery? He said. just release it. Take My Joy into your soul. With Peace, peace, wonderful peace Deep in my soul as I slowly release I've abandoned my cares. Now I feel so at ease With peace, gentle peace. And now I am whole. ***** Jesus Christ bled and died on a cross just for me To give us rebirth in a spirit set free He cleanses sick spirits, gives peace and release! When we give Him our troubles, He comes into our souls. Thank you, Ivy. Yes, the poem is a song. I read it to my Sister, Anita, this morning and she said she would attempt to write music for it. But there is music in my head when I read it, But I find writing music on paper a real pain, as I am not a musician, yet, anyway. Anita is a song writer.
